The name of the scholarship is Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Protsahan Yojana. A total of 82,000 students will get the scholarship offer per year, based on their 12th standard marks For pursuing a graduation/post-graduation degree. [highlight color=”yellow”][/highlight]
Eligibility Criteria:
- You must have 80% marks in your 12th board exam.
- You must pursue regular degree courses & college (not distance study or diploma courses).
- You must not have any other active scholarship running beside you.
- Your family income must be under 4.5 lakh per annum & you’ve to provide an income certificate.
- For renewal of a scholarship each year you have to get a minimum of 50% marks in the annual Exam & should have 75% of attendance in college.
Application Procedure:
- The application must be made online through the National scholarship portal.
- Verification of credentials of the students like caste and educational qualifications must be done through the Digilocker facility of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
- The national scholarship portal will provide all the information on the deadline.
